Question about Schwinn models

These are bikes that work well on the road for recreational riding or trips to the store and also work for paved or well groomed bike trails, rails-to-trails and around the block.

Question about Schwinn models

Postby dow » Fri May 20, 2016 9:41 am

I just picked up a used Schwinn Midmoor, which isn't made anymore. Can anyone tell me what if any current models are comparable to my bike? Here are the published specs that I've been able to dig up from old webpages:

Schwhinn 700C Midmoor Hybrid Bicycle:

Aluminum hybrid frame offers easy, comfortable riding
SR Suntour suspension fork smoothes the road
Shimano EZ- Fire trigger shifters for fast, precise gear changes
21 speeds with Shimano TX-31 rear derailleur for quick shifts
Alloy linear pull brakes stop precisely
SR Suntour alloy crank offers wide range of gears
Swept-back handlebar w/adjustable stem for customized riding position
Schwinn padded saddle w/suspension seatpost softens ride
Frame Size: Medium (17.5" - 18")
Model #: S4026A

And here's a stock picture of the bike (click for full-size image).

Sorry that I don't have an actual picture of the bike, but it's at the LBS where it went for a tuneup.

Thanks!
