Roadmaster or Next 24"

Postby Classpro » Mon Jun 20, 2011 7:36 am

The two WM kids bikes in my daughter's size that seems to get pretty good reviews are the Next Tierra Pro and the Roadmaster Granite Peak. I've read the roadmaster posts for the larger bikes, and really prefer the look of it to the Tierra Pro, but I'm concerned about the weight (Steel v. Aluminum), and would really appreciate some comments on them. I haven't actually looked at either bike, and I will do that before buying, but I don't know much about parts to be able to evaluate quality. Thanks for your help.

I'd recommend the raodmaster. It actually weighs less than the tiara since it doesn't have a rear suspension. It'll be a little more durable and take less maintenance because of that too. Its cheaper, just as good, and more hassle free. They have basically the same drivetrain too. There's really no reason to pay more for the tiara.
