Raleigh Tokul

Postby metalman302 » Sat Oct 28, 2017 10:39 pm

I tried the partner program and the Tokul 1 was on sale for only $334 shipped :o They all sold out but now the medium is back in stock for $350 shipped.

The specs show HTA of 69 degress but judging by the pics and by it's sister bike the Diamondback Hook it seems more like 67 degree HTA.

Those gotcha prices from Amazon are very misleading and if you read the fine print on some of those deals they are used or returned bikes. There is nothing wrong with that but those low ball prices are showing up constantly with a catch. Those Diamondback prices are just too steep to fathom for the product and the XR PRO is 100 dollars over Walmarts prices. The Tokul 3 was the bike that was tested by the racer phil kmetz on you tube but the Tokul 1 should be about that range normally. If it were a 7005 bike then it would have been a good deal but the Tokul 3 is 900 or more dollars for a 6061 bike. The mongoose deals should be like that normally also but it reminds me of LBS sale prices and that's really not competitive. LBS stores have end of year sales and demo bikes that are in those price ranges . Bottom line is you can usually match Amazons prices or get it cheaper somewhere else.

Who said anything about Amazon? This is the partner program. Remember you even started a thread about it? Amazon price is $500 shipped, partner price is $350 shipped. Big discounts on both Raleigh and DB's whole lines under the program.

Oh wow, then that is darn good info. I wonder how cheap the Diamondback release prices go down.

Yeah I'm sold on that deal then and highly recommend it. Tokul 3 for 500 bucks is a dang good deal.

The Tokul 3 corporate price is $330 + $20 shipped. So 34% discount. The higher level Tokul have a big discount too. I'm afraid this may be because they're discontinuing the Tokul.

The discount on the DB Release were not much. It goes from from $100 off the lowest one, incrementally up to $220 off the carbon ones.

Are you sure we are talking about a 1x11 Tokul 3, because that might be the best deal period. Even if people dont like the bike the parts are worth it.

Sorry I said 3 on accident. I get confused since some makes' hierarchy goes up numerical and some go down.

I see the 16' Tokul 3 shows $550 and a Raidon and 1x10 but it's sold out.
