Mixtie rescue! X2

Postby morando6784 » Wed Sep 09, 2015 3:18 pm

Saved these from behind a Facebook friends shed. Pink is a bridgestone and red is a Raleigh. Pretty ruff but that's the fun part. There's also a free spirit road bike I have to go back for. Pretty excited about the Bridgestone, want to mix pink and white accents on it. Sure when it's done some downtown hipster girl would scoop it up. Best part they were free.

Very nice!!!! Swap the drops for some mustache bars, then clean up/paint and post it up.

Got it stripped except for the stubborn BB. Wipped down. Tho it's pink it has a pretty paint job.

Getting parts shinned up. One side of wheel scrubbed on, little elbow grease they will look good as new.

Wow :)
That thing is cleaning up really nice! Very cool bike by the way :D
I love the way they used to gusset the joints at the bb, the head tube, and at the seat tube clamp

Got wheels repacked, shinned up the rims. Had to paint spokes black cause they had rust stains
