In your little world, engineering and technology mean nothing. You see one similarity, one thing in common, and assume it's all the same.
Complete idiot.

Quit hurling names and come up with the goods tomcat and metalman. The suspense is killing me. What do you call the type of suspension shown? You guys are really starting to look exactly like the forum members of MTBR in the extreme.

I've actually rode many different types of full suspension bikes. The Maestro design is the best in my opinion because it seems to absorb bumps better. I like the way the DW-Link design works on 6" travel bikes. They pedal like a 4" then when you need it you have 6".

The very point of a Horst 4 link suspension, is to lower the chainstay to seat stay link below the rear axle. I'm no engineer, but I can research the Horst link and find pages and pages of examples. This lowered link helps reduce squat. Believe it or not, mounting the axle to the chainstay vs. mounting to the seat stays, makes a difference.

The difference is obvious

The suspension type as stated for the XR PRO is a horst link four bar. Various iterations are also horst link four bar. Its important because this type of suspension is extremely good at cancelling out vibration. The other various types simply will not. The above picture tomcat is a horst link.
