The solution is in head to head, but you have to have a shock pump. Dont use a compressor or anything else. The bike shop will do it for free but you need a shock pump. Sorry for posting in the wrong place.

I will also help set the sag so that the fork performs to its fullest.

From what I understand a regular pump will loose a little pressure when detaching from the valve. You said it lost pressure during the ride though?

Yes, that's what's concerning me.

First simple check is to make sure the Schraeder valve core is seated properly. You may have an old car valve stem cap with the slotted fitting on it. If that’s tight then the dampener bladder is most likely leaking. It’s correct, unscrewing the pump will result in a few psi lost. I always pump about 3-5 lbs over to allow for this. And get a gauge. I have a Rock Shox pump but have more trust in my Topeak digital gauge. But you also have to allow for air loss using it as well.

Jasnooks, this has really become absurd. Please dont comment unless you can add to the discussion. Dont keep jumping threads here because you dont like what is being said. There are plenty of forums in which you can vent your anger and someone will respond in kind. This is not going to be MTBR junior no matter how much you want it to be.

My shock pump will be here tomorrow and I'll update at that point.
Work has been on overdrive since the weekend and I've not had a chance to get out and take pics to upload.
