Microshift components

Does anyone have any experience with microshift components? I have read mixed reviews on them.

I installed a set of thumb shifters on my son's Deception. They're kinda small, but they shift clean. Against the spring, they feel heavy, but not difficult.
On road bikes, I have no idea, but the swing when shifting against the spring looks excessive. I don't know if you could shift from the hoods or not, you might have to go to the drops every time.

I know, old thread but....

I could be mistaken but if you listen to the number of clicks when moving the main lever, it sounds like there are multiple clicks. If that's the case it' no different than the swing on Shimano or Sram. I have three road bikes, one with Sram Rival and the other two with Shimano Ultegra and Tiagra and multi-gear shifts require a longer swing as shown in the video.
