Trails and Bike Rentals near Phoenix

Postby Berg » Fri Jan 19, 2018 11:12 am

Hey guys! I'm going to be in Phoenix for a wedding and would like to do some trail riding while I'm down. Can anyone give me the low down on what and where on the area?

Trailsforks app or website will show you all the trails. Bike rentals..... don't know anywhere off the top of my head but I'm sure there's plenty.

If you could spare a little extra drive time I always point people towards Sedona. Several rental places there too.

Easier rides would be Ocotillo trail from Apache wash trailhead.
Also lots of trails from Brown's ranch trailhead. Be sure to grab a map at the trailhead. The intersections are all marked, so if you have a map you can't get lost.

I imagine Sedona has guided rides. It'll be kinda cold in Sedona this time of year.

When are you planning on being in Phoenix?

BikesRfun: I'd like to do some trail riding while there, will be out in Feb. I'm from WI, so it can't be much worse than it is here!!

Metal man, I will check out that app. Thanks!

Hopefully I'll be better by then. It's been over 2 weeks I'm dealing with throat and ear infection. If I'm well enough I could meet you. Maybe we could get metalman302 to join us.

Trail forks is good app. You'll need to download the AZ maps once you're running the app.
