The popularity of bike vs bike or head to head has exceeded expectations and I have decided to let the componentry available get in on the fun. This week features 1x11 titans. On top is the reigning champion the Shimano XT 8000 groupset with prices so varied that I will say in the 350 dollar range to the 500 dollar range. On the bottom is the contender With the name of LTWOO that is available on Aliexpress for a grand total of 260 bucks or less by about 60 dollars. Old man Shimano looks to have met his match. SRAM 1x12 systems are too pricey for this competition but I hear LTWOO is coming out with their own system that exceeds anyone else because its cheaper and works. Be honest and give your opinions and reviews because I certainly will. Microshift has been omitted for this competition because I couldn't find a complete groupset but I am still looking hard.

UPDATE you can get LTWOO 1x systems delivered for 150 bucks nowadays on the website ENGLISHTAOBAO which is part of the Alibaba group. This is the breakthrough we have waited for with BBBs because the drivetrains are essential for putting together cheap quality packages.

I'm just curious why you chose such a high level Shimano group to compare to this budget kit that is apparently not even worth the vendor's effort to market in the US.
I mean, have they even subjected their products to the scrutiny ONE product expo here or in Europe?
Short of that, I'd have to call this the "wishful thinking" parts group, to be fair.

Wouldn't it make more sense to assume that this group's quality level is more like Shimano's entry-level 11s group?

If they even bothered to post the component weights, then that would get the right contenders into the ring from the get-go, instead of pretending that the LTWOO is in the same league as XT in terms of things like weight and durability.

Or how about using SRAM x3 for this comparison? Any reason why not?

The "ENGLISHTAOBAO" link that you mentioned has no simple link to this 250th product studio photo that you have posted from unknown Chinese sources.
Since you made the effort to search it out and even dare to compare it to an XT group, couldn't you at least have included the direct link that shows specifications, detailed photos and PRICES?
What's with all these photo-bombs, isn't that more like Ali's marketing tactic, pretty pictures but with empty and/or confusing descriptions?

Better yet, buy and weigh just one component from this maker, then decide which Shimano or SRAM group that is it's true rival.

At one point dddd you and other forum members got stuck into believing every single concept of biking MTBR was promoting. Why would you think that all of these items are from a era where Chinese goods were substandard. I didnt come up with this stuff by wishful thinking because I wanted for it to exist, and if you cannot see it then you just cant as I have said so many times before. This truly is a strange world where people wish to pay more for bike parts. The review is on you tube if you want further evidence. No one is trying to get over on you, but just giving another option.

Why not advertise that the Burger King Whopper is comparable to Shimano XT 8000?
